I got to photograph this super cute little guy over the weekend. He didn't want to look at me for the first part of our session, but by the end, we were fast friends. Thanks guys - I enjoyed meeting you and can't wait to show you the rest of the photos. Paxton is an absolute doll!

My Sis

That's right, this is my little sister! In five minutes (or maybe less) of taking her photos on our trip to Salt Lake City, this is what we got. Are you kidding me? A far cry from my usual look - wet hair and cargo pants :) With her cascading locks and telling eyes, she's a photographer's dream. And, not only is she smokin', she's a super talented interior design student...(david bromstad watch out!). And, yes, as you can clearly see she's younger :) No undereye circles for her...yet. Just wait until you have babes, D. Love you!

The Nissen Family

The Nissens are fabulous. Take one look and you'll see what I mean. I had a great time photographing this family in and around their beautiful contemporary home. Guess that's what you get when you pair architecture, engineering and a super-organized and clean kiddo. And, did I mention their incredible eyes...

Thanks to everyone for having patience with me getting shoots proofed right now - sick kids and my husband's bout of meningitis last week (no worries, he's much better now and was not contagious) put a bit of a wrench in the editing schedule. I'm on my way to getting caught up and am loving taking fun pics of so many gorgeous families right now. Here's one of my favorite families - the Shirks. You may recognize Maren's unbelievable eyes from pics I took of she and her parents before. Here are just a few of her at 18 months - the rest will come soon...I promise :)

And, I finally figured out how to make pics larger on the blog. Woo Hoo!!!
